Care Philosophy
I specialize in maternal and child health, and offer guidance, encouragement and support with breastfeeding and lactation. I have been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 30 years and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) for 20 years. My expertise is with fragile, cardiac and premature infants, but am very experienced with all newborns beginning their breastfeeding journey and the common challenges. I also specialize in perinatal mental health and have completed my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), as I believe breastfeeding is about the parent and family as a whole. I offer a compassionate guide to feeding and helping to build and continue a nourishing connection.
